RMKEC Alumni Social Services Cell

“NOT TO BE SERVED; BUT TO SERVE!”

“The Best Way to Find Yourself Is to Lose Yourself in the Service to Others!” quoted Mahatma Gandhi. Our RMK alumni have demonstrated this quote by their outstanding service to the society in the form of Organic Farming, New Start Ups to create jobs, innovative products, etc.,

This cell provides an opportunity for the RMK Alumni to explicitly help the poor & needy in the society by transferring their knowledge to the underprivileged students, conducting blood donation camps, providing technical counsel to the needy students at school level, etc.,.

“Service to the society is the rent we pay for living on this planet!” We encourage you all to join hands as a RMK family and serve the society in a better way! It is very easy to defeat someone; but very hard to win someone said our people president Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. So let’s win the souls of our society by our service!

“COME; LET’S WIN THE SOULS OF OUR NATION BY OUR SERVICE!”

RMKEC Alumni Placement Cell

We all are aware of the amazing training & placement activities that are performed by RMK Training & Placement Department in our campus. On an average, nearly 90% of our eligible students are getting a placement inside the campus itself. We are really happy and proud of about 90% placement record. But RMKEC Alumni Association would like extend its helping hands to the students who are yet to be placed by providing proper guidance on a one to one basis. This is done by connecting one junior to a team of seniors, who would nurture that junior with their expertise & experience until he/she gets a placement.

RMKEC Alumni Higher Education Cell

The B.E/B.Tech tends to focus more on the practical aspects of learning and offers a greater insight into the subject and is ideally recommended for those who aspire to work in production, design or manufacturing industries. On completing their B.E/B.Tech, students have multiple choices when they plan to study a postgraduate degree abroad. Students can opt for a masters programme in their core engineering or allied subject for enhancing their knowledge domain in a specific domain and to get a core placement. A Graduate programme will give a better insight into specialized areas. This could be a MS in Engineering or a M.E or M.Tech. The naming convention for the postgraduate engineering degree varies from country to country. The core essentials remain the same, but a premier institution will offer more facilities, funding for research and enhanced career support services.

Those who aspire to enter the world of business and management can opt to study an MBA and specialize in a subject relevant to their undergraduate study. Courses like the Masters in Engineering Management and Masters in Information Systems Management are quite popular. Some institutions offer a dual degree. This helps student’s complete two distinct degrees within 2 years.

But what course to opt for? Which country to choose? Which universities are the best?

Our RMKEC Alumni Higher Education Cell aims to bridge this gap by helping their juniors acquire their higher education dream easily by guiding them from the selection of the cost to the courses! A group of highly dedicated alumni who did their Graduate programs in well reputed universities from various countries are the back bone of this cell!
