The RMKEC Alumni association was started in the year 2002 and now it has more than 3000 proud alumni all over the world, making the alma mater proud. With this, former students can stay in touch with one another and strengthen their bond ( a bond that is both nostalgic and inspiring) with RMK. The past pupils have been excelling in their respective fields thereby standing testimony to our college’s academic initiatives and innovations in providing technical education of high standard.

The Alumni association is governed by a board of elected members, a president and a vice president. This governing council has a secretary and office bearers.The annual general body meeting is held twice, one at the college premises on the graduation day and the other preferably at Hotel Breeze, Poonamallee High road,, Chennai in the second Sunday of October every year.

It serves as the focus for alumni relations and activities on behalf of the college. Its mission is to foster alumni interest and goodwill in college affairs by encouraging intellectual and emotional ties between members and the management

This Association of past pupils has evolved itself into a very promising interface between the students, college and industry. The annual meetings has been a platform to promote the achievements and milestones of both the management and the alumni. This has catalyzed the growth of the institution and has effectively helped to churn out many more successful engineers from our college.

In a nutshell, the RMKEC ALUMNI ASSOCIATION has been a platform for the co-ordination between the various aspects of our college thereby promoting it as a heaven of technical education.
